The New Baths, or Bagni Nuovi, and the 5 stars Grand Hotel
were originally opened in 1836.

They were reopened again in 2003 after being closed for many years and after a long restoration period.

Beautiful and evocative this thermal centre is divided into 4 different sectors, with more than 30 different thermal facilities such as waterfalls, hydro massage, mud baths, all with natural hot water (37°-43°C)

The main difference between the old and the new Baths is the liberty style that characterizes the new Baths and the extension of their thermal water outdoors (7 open air tubs and swimming pools in the great garden of Venus).

The Genzianella is one of the cooperating hotels of Bagni di Bormio SPA resort. Our guests will have the precedence in case of cueing and a reduction on the entrance fee.
