What is nordic walking?
Nordic walking is a new healthy and easy sport, practiced outdoors alone or with others. It brings together the benefits of sport , pure fun and relax. It is perhaps best described as cross-country skiing without the skis (or the snow!). Just like walking, it is an activity that is suitable for all. In fact, the use of poles involves 85% of the muscles but reduces knee and joint strain and cuts down 30% on physical effort while improving 46% and 40% respectively energy expenditure and body fat-burning compared to traditional jogging.

Nordic walking is the ideal activity for those who like to practice some sport, to keep fit or to loose weight, at any age.
